Newark Liberty International Airport is an international airport within the city limits of both Newark and Elizabeth, New Jersey, in the United States. It is located about 15 miles southwest of Midtown Manhattan and 60 miles northeast of Philadelphia, serving both metropolitan areas. Newark Airport was the first major airport in the United States.
